I was fortunate enough to work with Don for several years at Filcas/Impact Paper Products. He was one of the kindest people I've ever met. He exuded a calming yet playful spirit that positively affected everyone around him. I truly regret that I didn't get a chance to see him again.

My deepest condolences to his family. He spoke of you all often with such affection.

I knew Don thru high school and played together in a combo band, the Knottz, for several years. He was a great guitar player and had a wonderful sense of humor. I'll miss him and will keep his family in my thoughts and prayers.

Don will be greatly missed by many. Such a sweet, loving , gentle, good man with a heart full of gold... Always had a smile on his face regardless of how he felt or what was going on around him.
I always looked forward to him coming to my office at Charter Furniture at the end of the day just to say Hello and see how I was doing. Even if I was in a bad mood, talking to Don brightened my day. We talked about when I was getting my baby goats and how he past a pasture full of them on his route to work each day. He was keeping me updated as to when the new babies were out there and when I should be ready to buy mine. .He was gonna bring his wife over to the house when I got my baby goats so she could see them too.
I am gonna miss his sweet smile . He was a great man and coworker.
His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Deb,
Judy and I are so very sorry to hear about Don. He was a great man and neighbor and friend to us. Judy and I moved back to Burlington when I retired in March or 2014 and moved here in April that year. I have driven by your house a few times hoping to see yall in the yard but never saw you all and I am sadden that I did not stop and knock on the door. We will see you tomorrow at his memorial service and will pray for you and the family. Peace be with you all as Don is now bowling with the lord and smiling down on his family. With Love, Mark and Judy Cline and family
