I knew your dear mother through the Colonial Dames 17th Century. I met her in Washington, DC where we were both serving. (She a National Officer and me, a young page.) She was so kind to me as I grew up in the organization and was supportive of me as I rose to become the State President of Kentucky and as the Chaplain General. I had the wonderful opportunity to see her again last year at the Florida State Conference where we talked and caught up on things. She remembered me which pleased me so much. God bless you and the entire family in this difficult time. I leave you with the scripture I used at my memorial services I conducted at or National Meetings. Romans 8:38-39. In Service and in Friendship. Carole A. Cornell (Venice, FL)
