Mrs Patricia Anne Hair

Patricia Harrington “Pat” Hair, of Burlington passed away at the Coble Creek Healthcare Center at Twin Lakes Community on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 2:42 p.m.

A native of Lewiston, NC, she was the wife of Jim Hair, who survives and the daughter of L. Gay Harrington and Gwendolyn Butler Harrington, both deceased. Mrs. Hair was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Burlington where she was active in Circle #4 and served as Chairwoman of the Bible Moderators and received the Presbyterian Women Life Membership. She also served the Friends of the Library and the Burlington Board of the N.C. Symphony. Pat enjoyed reading, listening to classical music, and her granddaughters.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Laura Hair Owens and husband David of Burlington; granddaughters, Larkin Anne Owens and Caroline Elizabeth Owens, both of Burlington; sisters, Gwen Harrington Bland of Burlington and Catherine Barnes Brett of Atlantic Beach, NC; nephews, John Harrington Bland and wife Katie of Brooklyn, NY and David Wade Bland of Chapel Hill, NC; niece, Betsy Brett Williams and husband Brandon of Winterville; and two great nieces, Grace Howard Williams and Adelaide Charlotte Bland.

The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 6 until 8 p.m. When not at the funeral home, the family will be at the residence of the daughter, Laura Owens, 610 Newbern Court, Burlington, NC.

A memorial service will be conducted at the First Presbyterian Church of Burlington on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
