Kirby Lynn Hart

Kirby Lynn Hart, 80, of Burlington died at the Hospice Home on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 6:23 a.m.

A native of Chatham County, he was the husband of Bertie Taylor Hart, who survives and the son of William Donnie Hart and Pauline Bright Hart, both deceased. Mr. Hart was owner and operator of Economy Appliance in Gibsonville for 40 years. He was a member of Meronies United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Jenkins and husband Billy of Burlington; sister, Ida Smart of Siler City; brother, Marvin Hart and wife Shirley of Goldston; granddaughter, Crystal Fogleman and husband Chad of Burlington; two great-grandchildren, Cailyn and Caleb Fogleman; sister-in-law, Shirley Taylor of Whitsett; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Duane Hart.

The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 6 until 8 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. David Jackson and Rev. Gene Beaver.
