Mr. Kenneth M. “Mike” Watson, 75, of Haw River died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 3:33 p.m. following three years of failing health.
A native of Buckhannon, WV, he was the husband of Mary Kathern “Kathy” Watson, who survives and the son of Clarence Enoch Watson and Emma Louise Slaughter Watson, both deceased. Mr. Watson was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and a member of a veteran’s association in Roxboro, NC. He was a retired manager of Hanson Brick, Graham, NC. Mike was a charter member of New Covenant Fellowship.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include four children, Brad Watson and wife Teresa of Graham, Doug Watson and wife Mary of Pittsboro, Chris Moize and husband Tony of Snow Camp and Jennifer Grady and husband Jamie of Mebane; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Chandler and husband Chris of Pensacola, FL. He was preceded in death by a son, Brian Watson and sister, Hilda Wray.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 6 until 8 p.m. Other times they will be at the residence.
A memorial service will be conducted at New Covenant Fellowship on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. David Neff.
