Charlie was a very special person that does not come along very often in one's lifetime. He was a good friend to my deceased husband, George. He was always there for George and would visit when George could not go out of the home. We will miss this exceptional person but now God has him to work with and that will be a benefit for everyone. I thank God that Geroge and I were able to have Charlie as a friend and pastor. God bless his family!!!

Charlie was a delight to know. He was a blessing to our family during the years that he served Mayodan United Methodist Church. In the many years that followed, he was a good friend and an encouraging voice. We pray God's comfort for this family while also expressing our gratitude for one of God's joyful and faithful servants.

Beverly and Family, I was so saddened to learn about Charlie. We were good friends, Fraternity Brothers and roommates at High Point. and both from Mt. Airy, I remember a lot of good times we had at HPU, Charlie was such a kind,, happy and genuine person. I was with him when he received his draft notice for the Army and saw him some at Ft. Jackson. I know he influenced many lives over the years in the ministry. Heaven has gained another Angel. I am sure he will be missed by many. May GOD bless all of you in the days ahead. Jimmy

A great loss. Charlie helped me so much in answering a 3 year old questions regarding the Bible. Not to mention the replies I had to give after she talked to God. I will miss him very much. A great preacher and teacher.
