Yi Chong “Sunja” Sun Parker

      Yi Chong “Sunja” Sun Parker, 80, of Burlington, passed away on Sunday, 4/14/2019 at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell. 

      A native of South Korea, she was the wife of Carl Kenneth “Sonny” Parker, Sr.   “Sunja” was a member of the Greensboro Korean Seventh Day Adventist Church and had worked as a cook in the fast food industry.

      In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Kenny Parker, who also resides at the home.

     A celebration of Sunja’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday 4/25/2019, at the Rich and Thompson Chapel, 306 Glenwood Avenue, Burlington. 

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell, for the Hospice Home, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC  27215.
