Willie June Holt

Willie June Holt died Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at home after battling with dementia.  He was the son of the late Isaac “June” Holt II and Edna Wood Holt. He was the husband of the late Lillie Mae “Nanny” Guthrie Holt.

A native of Alamance County he was a retired Brick Mason and Farmer. He was known to all as a hardworking man.

He is survived by his sons, Willie Craven Holt (Dawn) and Billy June Holt (Angie); daughter Kathy Holt Murray(Richard); grandchildren, B.J. Holt(Whitney), Brittany Holt Hutchens(Bradley), Courtney Holt Bender(Justin)and Justin Holt; great grandchildren, Kinley Mae Holt, Ava Lee Holt, Caison June Holt, and Bralynn Abigail Hutchens; sister, Dinah H. Shoffner(Mike) and brother, Ike Holt, III (Diane), Chesley Holt (Wendy) special cousin, Wade Kimball and his lifelong friend, A.L. Mann; special care givers Emmy and Solomon Jepkemei and their daughter Sabrina.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Rich and Thompson Funeral Home in Graham. Funeral will be Sunday, May 28, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Graham.
