Mr. Willie Thomas Gray, 75, of Haw River passed away at the residence of his daughter on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at 5:00 AM.
A native of Person County, he was son of the late William Monroe Gray and Nanie Sue Knott Gray. He was self-employed in the auto body industry.
Surviving are four daughters, Angelina Marie Gray and Britney Rene Gray both of the home, and Lora Ann Perry (James) and Kim Gilmore (Willie) both of Graham; two sons, Hilton Gray (Pat) of Graham and Billy Gray Cates of Haw River; nine grandchildren, Kevin (Sarah) and Kristin Perry, Kaleb, Kamryne and Malyk Ellis, Ameeran Gilmore, Devin, Joseph, and Jada Cates; two great grandchildren, Grady Ford Perry and Hayes Henry Perry; a sister Louise Pleasant (Thaddeus); and a brother James Earl Gray. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Carver and four brothers, Frank, Henry, Robert and Charlie Gray.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 8 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham with Elder Jimmy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Moore’s Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham from 6-8 PM, Friday evening and other times at the residence of a daughter, Lora Perry, 1303 Plateau Place, Graham.
