William Kenneth "Bill" Sprague Sr.

Mr. William Kenneth “Bill” Sprague, Sr., 90, of Burlington died at White Oak Manor on Monday, November 13, 2017.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, he was the husband of the late Grace Murphy Sprague and the son of James Sprague and Ruth Lincoln Sprague, both deceased and step-mother, the late Elizabeth Sprague. Mr. Sprague was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was self-employed with a laundry and delivery service. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree.

Survivors include two sons, William K. “Bill” Sprague, Jr. and wife Patricia and Dan Sprague, all of Burlington; daughter, Peggy Thomas and husband Jeff of Apex; three grandchildren, Trevor Thomas, Logan Thomas and Heather Fahnrich and husband Issac; two great-grandchildren, Hayleigh and Isabella Fahnrich; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James Sprague and Daniel Sprague and two sisters, Marion Greeson and Dorothy Crotts.

The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 6 until 8 p.m.

A funeral mass will be conducted at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. by Father Paul Lininger, OFM Conv. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
