We are saddened to hear of Bill's passing. You and he made such wonderful contributions to our small group meetings and gatherings. Your Dad will be remembered with such warmth and fondness, Peggy, and he will be missed.

Bill was the first person I met in Burlington in 1996. Pat and I went to Walmart and Bill was at the front door with Knights of Columbus tootsie rolls. Through the years I came to know Bill well. He read at mass and I enjoyed hearing an accent from home. When I moved my parents down here, my dad met Bill at a Knights breakfast and they talked about dad’s home council in Brooklyn. Bill told me he liked pound cake, so every once in a while, I’d bake one for him. When we had our first Thanksgiving pie bake, Bill volunteered to wash our utensils, and he took it seriously. When we’d lay a spatula or bowl down, it would disappear immediately and we’d just have to look at the drain board to find it already washed and dried. He reminded me of my grandfather who truly loved being a Knight especially 4th degree. Bill was a wonderful man and I shall miss him.
