Mr. William T. McAdams, 85, of Burlington passed away at the V. A. Hospital in Durham on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 12:52 PM.
A native of Burlington, he was the son of Theodore R. McAdams and Sallie A. McAdams, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving during the Korean Conflict and retired as a service technician for a heating and air company.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Williams and Julie McAdams, both of Mebane; son, Barry McAdams and wife Kim of Burlington; seven grandchildren, Chad Williams, Brandon McAdams, Larrisa Palmer and husband Chris, Barry McAdams, Jr., Matthew McAdams, Trenton McAdams and Conner McAdams; eight great-grandchildren, Skylar Palmer, Braxton Palmer, Hayden McAdams, Hunter McAdams, Kaylee McAdams, Zachary McAdams, Briley McAdams and Kennedy McAdams; and two siblings, Mary McMasters and Hurley McAdams. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Mozelle McAdams, Marcell Simmons and David McAdams.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. David Ealy with the family receiving friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Other times, the family will be at the residence.
