William David Wrenn, 91, of Burlington joined his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 21, 2020 at 6:02 p.m.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Lessie Richardson Wrenn, who survives and the son of Charlie and Julia Wrenn, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a retired plumber.
In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include two sons, Roger Wrenn and wife Janice and Frank Wrenn; seven grandchildren, Bryan Small, Crystal Meeks, David P. Mays, Misty Humphries, Edward Mays III, William David Wrenn II and Chelsey Wrenn; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, William Dale Wrenn; daughter, Julie Dorenda Kaye Wrenn Mays and four siblings, Maggie Pennington, Joybelle Vance, Warren Wrenn, and Walter Wrenn.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
