Warner Ray Whitten

Mr. Warner Ray Whitten, 88, of McLeansville, NC passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Thursday, October 8, 2020.

A native of Griffin, GA, he was the husband of Mae Baker Whitten, who survives and the son of William Lawson Whitten and Daisy Mae Feltman Whitten, both deceased. He served and retired from the U. S. Army as a Sergeant.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Warner Ray “Butch” Whitten, Jr. and wife Kathy of Gibsonville and William Clifton Whitten of Whitsett.

A graveside service will be conducted at Alamance Memorial Park on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the graveside service.
