W. Lane Overman

     W. Lane Overman, 76,  of Graham,  died Tuesday 7/21/2020 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. 

     A native of Alamance County,  he was the husband of Judy May Overman,  who survives and the son of Winfred Overman and Mildred Cates Overman,  both deceased.

Lane was a former member of the Glen Hope Baptist Church.  He loved his family,  especially his grandchildren,  fishing for largemouth bass and the Washington Redskins.

     In addition to his wife,  he is survived by a daughter,  Karen Lynn Overman, of Graham;  his son,  Jeffrey Lane Overman and wife Dana,  of Graham and his two loving grandchildren, Ashley and Justin Overman. Also surviving are his 3 grandfurbabies.

     A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday 7/24/2020 at Alamance Memorial Park.  Friends are invited to  visit Rich and Thompson Funeral Service in Graham after 12 noon on Thursday to pay their respects and sign a register book.
