Ms. Virginia “Ann” Freeman, 49, of Graham passed away at her residence on Thursday, April 26, 2018.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late James Freeman and Mildred Anderson Freeman of Burlington. Ann was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was formerly employed at LabCorp in Burlington. She attended Bible Baptist Church in Burlington.
In addition to her mother, Mildred Freeman of Burlington, she is survived by her son Michael Brown of Burlington; daughter Jessica Brown of the home; two sisters, Brenda Turner and husband, James “Red” Turner of Mebane and Ellen Price and husband, Mitchell Price of Elon; grandson, Bentley Ridge Evans; father of her children, Chris Brown of Prospect Hill; an aunt and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Hattie Surrett Anderson.
The funeral service will be conducted at Bible Baptist Church in Burlington on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. by Dr. J. Mark Aheron and Rev. David Jackson. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
