Virgie May Strickland, 73, of Elon, died September 11, 2020 at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington.
Mrs. Strickland is the wife of James Strickland, who survives, and the daughter of the late Eugene May and the late Annie Carroll May.
In addition to her husband, James, Mrs. Strickland is survived by her daughter, Tina Caccavari; 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Edith Baker and Linda May; and a brother, Tommy May.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy, and two siblings.
There will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 26, 2020 in the Rich and Thompson Chapel.
