Mrs. Jean O'Baugh Joyce

Mrs. Jean O’Baugh Joyce, 72, of Graham, passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 8:35 PM.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late J. B. Joyce and daughter of the late Cyrus Alexander O’Baugh and Pauline Scott O’Baugh. Mrs. Joyce was a loving wife and mother as well as a member of Bethel Baptist Church.   

Surviving are two daughters, Trena Joyce Coleman and her husband Chris of Wilmington, NC and Kristan Joyce Tyree and her fiancé Chris Wiley of Burlington; one son, Craig Joyce and his wife Yvette of Burlington; six grandchildren, Duy Nguyen, Nick Joyce, Taylor Joyce, A. J. Tyree, Brooke Coleman and Brady Coleman; two sisters, Gwen Ray and Joyce Thompson; and a sister-in-law, Hattie O’Baugh. She was preceded in death by a brother, C. A. O’Baugh.

Family and friends will have a graveside service at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 3, at Graham Memorial Park. Other times they will be at the residence.

Mrs. Joyce will be available to the public for viewing at Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The family will not attend the viewing, but will receive visitors at the residence throughout the day.
