Terry Glenn Coble, 69, passed away on May 24, 2018 at his home in Alamance, NC. He was born on January 30, 1949 in Burlington, NC to Glenn Monroe Coble and Helen Brown Coble.
Following graduation from Wake Forest, he founded Kobel Industries, Inc. with his dad. While running Kobel, Terry was known for compassion for his team striving to provide a positive influence in their lives however he could. He is well remembered by those involved in this organization.
Terry was one of the most sentimental and passionate (aka. “hard-headed”) beings you could come across. Never one to leave a ‘free, take one’ pile with less than two or three in his pocket, he loved to collect items that would bring a memory. While his body was weakening, his memory and witty humor never seemed to fail him. He cared deeply for those he encountered in life. As his friends and some strangers may know, it was common for him to insert himself into some of their most challenging times, relationships, etc. and be there with an open ear, piece of advice and possibly a passionate opinion or two. He lived for these relationships with others and the opportunity to have a positive influence and, as his grand-daughter would say, leave ‘heart prints’ on another life. We hope you were one to receive one of his many heart prints and will wear it with pride as you join us in remembering Terry.
Terry is survived by his sons, Neil and Darin; daughter-in-law, Hali; grandchildren, Evie and Dax; and girlfriend, Pam Pendergraft. Terry was preceded in death by his parents.
