Teressa Lee Martindale

Teressa Lee Martindale, 62, of Burlington, passed away on Friday, 1/3/2020 at Liberty Commons Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. A native of Alamance County, Teressa was the daughter of John A. Martindale, deceased and Nancy Lee Cantrell Martindale, who survives.

She was retired as the Assistant Site Manager at Alamance Battleground. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and greatly enjoyed working in the nursery at church and with the toddlers. She was also a member of the State Employee Association.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sister, Linda Ann Martindale, of Burlington and numerous close friends, Bob and Kathy Giles, Mark and Mary Ann Kimbro, Denise and Richard Tipton and family and Peggy Tew and family.

A graveside service honoring Teressa’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday 1/7/2020 at Alamance Memorial Park. Rev. Debra Oakley Chandler and Rev. Greg Boulk will conduct the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children and Youth Ministry at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 2331 La Vista Drive, Burlington, NC 27215 or to the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club, 807 Stockard Street, Burlington, NC 27217.
