Ms Teresa Allison King

Ms. Teresa Allison King, 68, of Burlington, passed away at the Hospice Home of Burlington on Friday March 9, 2018.

A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Hassell L. Day and Alma Jo Welch Day, both deceased. Teresa was a graduate of Southern Alamance High School and attended Western Carolina University. She worked at Gold Toe for 22 years until she retired in 2008. She was an avid Carolina Tar Heels Fan and was active at Western Alamance High School as a band booster and athletic booster.

Survivors include two children, Stormy Fields and husband Danny of Climax, and Randall King and fiancé Melanie Eveker of Burlington; four grandchildren, Cheyenne & Cody Fields and Walker and Hayden King; acquired son, Eddie Lynn and wife Nanci; two brothers, Aaron Day and wife JoElla of Graham, and Mark Day of Semora; nephew, Tommy Day and wife Jamie; niece, Cindy Collie and husband Richard; and three great nephews and two great nieces.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Mitch Day.

A memorial service will be held at Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Thursday March 15, 2018 at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
