                                                      Tempy Jo Kehrwecker Kimrey

     Tempy Jo Kehrwecker Kimrey, 73, of Burlington, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

     A native of Alamance County, Tempy was the daughter of Mary Ruth Clapp Gaines, who survives and the late Kenneth Kehrwecker and was raised by the late Walter Mack Gaines.   She spent her life working as an LPN and by helping the elderly.

     In addition to her mother, she is survived by daughters, Regina Henderson Taylor, of Rural Hall; Janice Rice, of Hurt, Va.; a son, Jeff Henderson, of Winston Salem; a sister, Belinda Ricketts, of Midlothian, Va., her granddaughter, Hayley Whitlock of Kernersville and a great granddaughter, Luna Whitney.

     In addition to her father and step-father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Gaines.

    The family will greet friends from 1-3 PM on Saturday, May 25, at Rich & Thompson Funeral Service in Burlington.
