Stuart Raby

Stuart Raby, 58, of Snow Camp passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.

Stuart was born in Munich, Germany to Danny Lee Raby and Christa Zwilcher Raby, both deceased. He was the husband of Nina Wood Raby, who survives.

Stuart was a Southern Alamance High School graduate, where he played football and was All Conference. Stuart worked as a diesel mechanic for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, drag racing and was very proud of teaching and coaching little league sports. One of his favorite things, was spending time with his granddaughter, Brayleigh cooking and baking cakes. He was a member of Friendship Church.

In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include a daughter, Amber Lynn Raby; son, Dustin Ludwig Raby; granddaughter, Brayleigh Louise Coble; brother, Eric Ray Raby; sister, Yvonne Raby Strickland and her husband, Johnny of Snow Camp; two nieces, Holly Schwabrow, Emma Strickland; nephew, Cody Strickland; and great-nephew, Gabriel Strickland.

A memorial service will be held at Friendship Church on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
