Sheila Denise Black, 54, of Graham passed away suddenly at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 25, 2018.
A native of Orange County, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Howerton Black and Mary Ann King Simpson, who survives. She was employed in the cable assembly industry as a supervisor.
Shelia loved spending time with her family. In addition to her mother Mary, survivors include her fiancé, Jay Traylor; three sons, Keith Thompson of Graham, Mark Thompson and wife Crystal of Burlington, William Aaron Nichols and wife Nancy of Graham; three sisters, Theresa Pigott, Donna Hathaway and Carol Taylor; one brother, Wesley Black and nine grandchildren. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Donnie Lee Thompson.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 in the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham, NC.
At other times the family will be at the residence of her sister, Carol Taylor, Lot 41, 3324 Bellemont-Mt. Hermon Rd. Burlington, NC 27215.
