Saundra Lee Hooper

Saundra Lee Hooper, 78, of Burlington, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Duke University Medical Center.

Born in Troy, NC, Mrs. Hooper was the wife of Albert Joseph Hooper, Jr., who survives, and the daughter of the late Arnold Lee Sanders and the late Evelyn Morton Sanders.

Mrs. Hooper was a member of Front Street United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, Albert Joseph Hooper, Jr., of the home; Mrs. Hooper is survived by two sons, Todd Hooper (Robert Westergard) of Garner, and Kyle Hooper (Robert Jones) of Raleigh; and two sisters, Libby Speight (David), of Roanoke, VA, and Edith Loy of Burlington.

The funeral service will be held Friday, September 24, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Front Street United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
