Saralea"Sandy" Emerson

Saralea “Sandy” Emerson, 95, of Twin Lakes passed away at her residence on Thursday, May 3, 2018.

A native of Savannah, GA, she was the wife of the late Leroy Neese and, before him, the late Bartley Emerson. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, Albert L. Kanter and Rose Ehrenreich.

Sandy is survived by one son: Jeff D. Emerson of Portland, ME; one daughter, Rev. E. J. Emerson of Monroe Township, NJ; three step-daughters, Carolyn Neese Jones of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jan Neese Smith of Greensboro, NC and Ann Neese Bothwell of Raleigh, NC; and one step-son, John Neese of Raleigh, NC.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm at May Foley Chapel located in Twin Lakes Community on Saturday, June 23, 2018.

The family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, charitable gifts may be made to the Saralea K. and Bartley H. Emerson Scholarship Fund at Bowdoin College, Brunswick, ME.
