Mrs Sarah Albright Adams

Mrs. Sarah Albright Adams, 100, of Graham passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Alamance House in Burlington.

A native of Alamance County, she was wife of the late James Elbert Adams and daughter of the late William Herbert Albright and Novella Foust Albright McVey. Mrs. Adams was a retired receptionist for Dr. Hawkins and Dr. Crissmon. She was a member of Graham Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her son, George Richard Adams and wife Betsy of Burlington; grandsons, Eddie and wife Kara, and Geoffrey and wife Whitney; a brother, Joseph McVey of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters-in-law, Mary Anne McVey and Betty McVey; as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Adams and four brothers, Bill Albright, Tom McVey, Norman McVey and Gordon McVey.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 31, at the Graham Presbyterian Church with Dr. Steve Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery in Graham.

The family will receive friends in the Parlor of the Church from 10:00 – 10:45 AM, prior to the service.
