Sandra “Sandy” Kay Warren Pulley

Sandra “Sandy” Kay Warren Pulley, 81, of Burlington passed away at AuthoraCare Hospice Home on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

Mrs. Pulley was born November 12, 1940 in Burlington, NC. She was the wife of 39 years to the late Bobby Wayne Pulley who was the love of her life. She was the daughter of Earl Wilson Warren and Myrtle Oakley Warren, both deceased.

Sandy was employed with Kayser Roth for 37 years and retired from AKG in Mebane in 2004. She also volunteered at Alamance Regional Medical Center for many years and loved it!

Sandy loved going to Curves and walking at Pine Hill Cemetery. She loved reading, working Crossword puzzles, and going to the beach. She and her late sister, Becky traced all of their family tree going way back in time which gave them precious quality time and lots of fun.

She was a member of Piedmont Presbyterian Church and also enjoyed attending Lakeview Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Melinda “Lynn” Wright and husband Scott and Deanna “Dee” King and husband Randall; four grandchildren, Kristy Riley (Danny), Jennifer Smith, Russ King (Mitchell), and Paige King; four great grandchildren, D. J. Riley, Michael Riley (Maddie), Hannah Dalrymple, and Seth Dalrymple; two great great grandchildren, Carter Harnacke and Maelynn Riley; a sister, Shirley Warren Pickard; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Josie Ann “Jo” Warren Jenkins and Rebecca Sue “Becky” Warren Davis.

A graveside service will be conducted at Pine Hill Cemetery on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Sammy Ballard.
