Denise Murphy

Mrs. Denise Murphy, 62, of Alamance passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.

A native of Alamance County she was the wife of Wade Murphy, who survives and the daughter of Elmer Glenn Shoffner and Betty Holloway Shoffner, both deceased. Denise worked in the textile industry. She enjoyed researching genealogy.

In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Michael Lynn Murphy and Franklin Glenn Murphy, two grandchildren, Andrew Lewis Murphy and Karleigh Lynn Murphy; and a sister, Jackie Mahaley and husband Randy.

The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 6 until 8 p.m.
