Mrs Ruth Maier Phelps

Mebane – Mrs. Ruth Maier Phelps, 89, of Mebane Ridge Assisted Living, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021, at the AuthoraCare Hospice Home in Burlington.

A native of Rochester, NY, Mrs. Phelps was the wife of the late James H. Phelps and daughter of the late Harry John Maier and Ruth Repp Maier. Mrs. Phelps was a retired bookkeeper with the Monroe County (NY) Employees Credit Union, and a member of Alamance Lutheran Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Kassmann and husband Edward of Pittsboro; a son, David J. Phelps and wife Helen of Woodstock, GA; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A private service for the family will be held at a later date.
