Ross Wesley Grubb, 80, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 10:17 p.m.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Vicki Henderson Grubb, who survives and the son of William Harrison Grubb “Fuzzy” and Mary Beaver Grubb, both deceased. He was a retired truck driver with Overnight Transportation. Ross was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Graham.
In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Lewter and husband Lane of Graham and Carmen Newlin and husband Vance of Haw River; son, Jeff Grubb and wife Shirley of Tarboro; sister, Shirley Jernigan; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Wesley Benton; sister, Louise Black; and four brothers, Bill Grubb, Frank Grubb, Arthur Grubb, and Ray Grubb.
The funeral service will be conducted at Bethel Baptist Church on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. David Jackson and Rev. Scott London with the family receiving friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park.
