Rosie Cline Tarlton

Rosie Cline Tarlton, 89, of Gibsonville passed away at AuthoraCare Hospice Home on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.

A native of Iredell County, she was the wife of the late John D. Tarlton and the daughter of L. R. Cline and Nira Lois Boovey Cline, both deceased. She was a retired beautician and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Rosie was a member of Northside Presbyterian Church where she was a past Sunday School teacher and a member of WIC.

Rosie cherished her time with family and friends. She had a loving and Christ-like spirit in all she did. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Tim Tarlton and wife Cathy; daughter, Darlene Tarlton Moore and husband Ed; grandchildren, Jonathan Tarlton and wife Abby, Jennifer Tarlton Adams, and Whitney Moore Gomes and husband Corey; and seven great-grandchildren, Briley Tarlton, Brooks Tarlton, Baylor Tarlton, Boone Tarlton, Field Gomes, Violet Gomes and Jackson Adams. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie C. Campbell and Dorothy C. Adkins.

A graveside service will be conducted at Alamance Memorial Park on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. She will be available for viewing from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
