Rose Marie Wood

Rose Marie Wood, 69, of Burlington passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Hospice Home in Burlington.

A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Robert Edward Lee Wood and Jessie Leonard Wood, both deceased.

Rose retired from LabCorp and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

She is survived by a brother, Roger L. Wood and his wife Rosa; four sisters, Sandy Smith and her husband Charles, Terry Palmer and her husband Doug, Brenda Green, Linda Capes; special aunt, Shirley Adams; special cousin, Donna Kahn; and a special friend, Brandi Etherington. She was preceded in death by a brother, Tony L. Wood and a sister, Jean Wood Mansfield.

A memorial service will be held at Riverside Baptist Church on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm with the family receiving friends from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm prior to the service at the church.
