Mr. Ronald A. Capps, 85, of Graham went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 12, 2018.
A native of Alamance, Co., he was the husband of Paulette Capps and the son of Marvin Capps and Nellie Jane Clapp Capps, both deceased. Ronald is retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company. He was an avid deer hunter and sportsman. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Capps is survived by his wife, Paulette of the home; two step-daughters, Joyce Hartsoe and her husband, Mike of Gibsonville and Janet Ryals of Walkertown; two step-sons, Jim Sharp and his wife, Dale of Gibsonville, and Michael Sharp and Roger of Georgia; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a special nephew, Jan Capps of Graham.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Homer Boyd Capps.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Farron Duncan. Burial will follow in the Bellemont United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Other times they will be at the residence.
