Roger Kenneth Grogan
Roger Kenneth Grogan, 84, of Burlington, passed away on Friday 7/9/2021 at his residence. A native of Rockingham County, he was the son of Cecil H. Grogan and Elsie Leon Hutchens Grogan, both deceased.
Kenneth was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he worked for the City of Burlington for over 20 years as a plumber and welder.
He is survived by a daughter, Deborah Harrison and her husband Donald, of Burlington; a son, Roger Kenneth “Butch” Grogan, Jr., of Mebane; a sister, Janice Wagoner and husband David, of Graham; his grandchildren, Ashley Bunone (Kenneth) and Heather Baulding (Josh), all of Burlington; great grandchildren, Abbigail Baulding, Kinley Ann Bunone and Kassidy Lynne Baulding; and his loving Jack Russell Terrier, Spud. He is also survived by his step children, Edward Shaw, Johnny Doby, Debbie Shaw and 4 step grandchildren. Kenneth was also formerly married to the late Betty Smithey Grogan and Sandra Faye Grogan, who survives. He was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda T. Frith.
The family will celebrate Kenneth’s life with a private graveside service at Graham Memorial Park.
The family will be at the home of his daughter, Deborah and Donald Harrison, 1333 Carlton Avenue, Burlington.
