Robert Lewis Taylor III, 38, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020.
A native of Norfolk, VA, he was the husband of Amanda Young Taylor and the son of Robert Lewis Taylor, Jr. and Gwendolyn Kendrick Taylor, all who survive. He was the general manager of Builder’s Wholesale Flooring, Greenville, SC. He loved playing with his little boy, Owen. He was an avid Duke basketball fan and Carolina Panthers fan, and he enjoyed playing golf and his guitar.
In addition to his wife and parents, survivors include his son, Owen Taylor; sister, Erin Faith Isley and husband Lee of Belmont and their children, Ethan, Emerson and Elliot Isley; maternal grandmother, Frances Cole; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Julia Young; sister-in-law, Candace Kanady and her daughter Hayden Kanady; and brother-in-law, Andrew Young and his son, Avery Young.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jack Kendrick; step-grandfather, Brian Cole; and paternal grandparents, Robert Lewis Taylor, Sr. and Betty Jean Taylor.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
