Robert Joel "Bobby" Parsons, Sr.

Robert Joel “Bobby” Parsons, Sr., 75, of Graham, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, September 7, 2020 at Duke University Medical Center.

A native of Burlington, Mr. Parsons was the husband of Brenda Paylor Parsons and the son of the late Samuel Thomas Parsons and the late Thelma Kitsinger, Parsons.

Mr. Parsons was the owner and operator of Parsons Vending Company and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda, of the home; daughter, Cindy Parsons Hall Fuller of Round O, SC; son, Robert Joel Parsons, Jr. and his wife, Brandie, of Burlington; six grandchildren, Seth Hall, Joshua Hall, Ciegy Wiggins, Seton Hall, Savannah Grace Parsons and Jerry Crawley; 2 great-grandchildren, Hadley Wiggins and Lucy Wiggins; 4 sisters, Peggy Spears, Becky Adams, Kay Wilson, Carolyn Cook and a brother,Tommy Parsons.

He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Darren Hall.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 10, 2020, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church in Burlington.

The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM at the church. Officiating will be the Rev. Randy Hobbs. Burial will be in Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Home Missions Program at New Hope Baptist Church, 1525 Flora Ave., Burlington, NC 27215.
