Lawrence Edwards

Lawrence Edwards, 83, of Burlington, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019. Lawrence was born on December 15, 1935 to Robert Ervin Edwards and Lucille Watkins Edwards Davis.

Lawrence was a member of the Graham High School Class of 1954 and was a dispatcher for Burlington Industries Transportation for over 30 years.

Survivors are his wife of 31 years, Janet Williams Edwards, daughters, Michele Edwards Dull, Cindy Edwards Milling and husband, Ted, Ashley Johnson; grandchildren, Michael Edwards, Jonathan Dull, Michael Dull, Mary Milling, Jaycen Milling, Kahlynne Apple and Natalee Apple; great-grandchildren, John Skenes V and Josie Faircloth.

In addition to his parents, Lawrence was preceded in death by his brother, William Edwards of Rose Hill, NC. William’s wife, Erma and their children, Brent Edwards and wife, Carolyn and Mrs. Dale Edwards Garris and husband, Pete, all of Rose Hill.

Lawrence was a generous and special man, who truly loved his family. It’s hard to find the right words to honor this man who mean the world to us.

Lawrence lived a quiet life and requested that there be no funeral or visitation.
