Renan Cambrani, 70, of Burlington passed away at UNC Hospitals at Chapel Hill on Monday, February 8, 2021.
A native of Puebla, Mexico, he was the husband of Rosalia Cambrani, who survives and the son of Mateo Cambrani and Zoraida Mendez, both deceased. He was a retired salesman and restaurateur. A pioneer of 4th and 5th Step Group in Puebla (1995) and North Carolina (2008). An active sponsor and a leader of AA since 1985.
In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include two daughters, Oddete Cambrani-Dove (Ronnie Dove) and Osiris Cambrani (Alejandro Cossío); grandchildren, Renee and Sammy Dove; sister, Sara Cambrani; and his doggie, Papi.
A private memorial service will be held at The Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on February 14th, 2021 at 2pm. Live stream available.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Venmo @Oddete-Cambrani-Dove as well as a Box placed at the funeral, the money will be used to buy Tablets to be donated to UNC Hospital and give other families the opportunity to see and talk to their love ones during the pandemic, just like we did.
