Reid Braxton

Mr. Reid Braxton, 76, of Graham, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at his residence.

A native of Chatham County, he was husband of the late Nan Edwards Braxton and son of the late Clyde Braxton and Suvarta Johnson Braxton. He was the former owner of Archdale Oil in Graham, a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church and a Veteran of the US Air Force.

Surviving are two sons, Terry Braxton of the Phillippines and Todd Braxton of Bayboro, NC; a granddaughter, Eileene Braxton of New York City; a sister, Linda Wightman and husband Bill of Concord, NC; and a niece Haley Wightman.

A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 9 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham with Rev. Don Pegg officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
