Rebecca Duggins Cheek Jordan

Rebecca Duggins Cheek Jordan, 65 of Alamance County, passed away on July 10, 2018 at the Hospice Home in Burlington, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at The Trinity Worship Center in Burlington NC. The visitation will be following the services at Trinity Worship Center with Pastor Darrel Cox of Trinity Worship Center and Pastor Howard Thompson formally Pastor of Burlington Assembly of God in Burlington. A private burial will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery.

Rebecca was born in Alamance County to William Jackson Duggins and Patricia Wheeler Duggins Brame on June 28, 1953. Rebecca graduated from Walter Williams High School in Burlington, NC. Rebecca spent most of her life living for the Lord and witnessing to others. She was a member of The Trinity Worship Center. Rebecca spent her younger years as a stay at home mom and also traveling with her first husband and three children. She was also a model in New York in her early years. Rebecca was employed by RayCo and The Cutting Board in Burlington. Her later years were spent selling Mary Kay and Juice Plus. Rebecca spent the last years of her life honoring and raising her grandson, Layten Cheek.

Rebecca married James Crawford Cheek, they had three children. Rebecca was second marriage was to Jerry Jordan of Chesterfield, SC. They resided in Burlington, NC.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, William Jackson Duggins and Patricia Wheeler Duggins Brame, first husband James Crawford Cheek, her second husband Jerry Jordan and most recently her sister Katherine McDonald.

Rebecca is survived by one son, Timothy J. Cheek of Alamance County and two daughters Tammy M. Cheek and Teresa  Cheek Butler, both of Alamance County. Rebecca is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

 Memorials may be made to any First Bank branch to the “Rebecca Jordan Memorial Fund” and also the “GoFundMe campaign”.
