Raylene Rodriguez Slazyk

Raylene Rodriguez Slazyk, 83, of Leasburg passed away at Teer Family Pavilion, Durham, NC on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 2:22 a.m.

A native of Chicago, IL, she was the wife of the late George Roman Slazyk and the daughter of Raymond Rodriguez and Eva Vrablic Sauciunas, both deceased.

Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Proffit; two grandchildren, Christopher Proffit (Charity Billow) and Steven Proffit(Shana Terry); three great-grandchildren, Halleigh Proffit, Darrell Proffit and Skylar Proffit; and a brother, Frank Sauciunas. She was preceded in death by a son, George Slazyk; grandson, Darrell Proffit; and brother, Charles Decker.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until 5:30 p.m.
