Mrs Priscilla Dale Hooper

Priscilla Dale Hooper, 79, of Burlington, passed away at Person Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
 
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Clem Hooper and the daughter of the late James Marshall and the late Pearl Clapp McLelland. She retired from the Department of Social Services and was a member of Bethel Christian Church. She was a consummate cook, gardener, and a friend to many.
 
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Tonya Harrison and fiance, Jessica Creamer of Durham, NC; grandchildren, Alexandria Pilkington, of Norman, OK; Zachary Johnson of Bolivia, NC, Meredith Parker of Whitsett, NC and Andrew Johnson of Cary, NC; and four great-grandchildren.
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Anne Pope.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Bethel Christian Church with the Rev. Caleb Hensley officiating. The committal service will be held immediately following the service in the church cemetery.
