Phoebe Pass Johnson

Ms. Phoebe Pass Johnson, 63, a resident of Edgewood Place for 18 years, passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 4:08 p.m.

A native of Swepsonville, she was the daughter of the late William E. “W.E.” Pass and Myrtle Roach Pass, who survives. Phoebe was the mascot of the Alexander Wilson Class of 1958, a former customer service representative at Fashion Packaging and a member of Swepsonville Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother of Swepsonville; son Benjamin Langley Johnson and his wife, Ashley of Liberty; three grandchildren, Zain Johnson, Wes Johnson and Dani Johnson; and a brother, Anthony Pass and his wife, Pam of Danville, VA.

In addition to her father, Phoebe was preceded in death by her sister, Vanessa Dale Pass.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. by Rev. Steve McGowan.  Burial will follow at the Phillips Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
