Paul Dwayne Thompson

Paul Dwayne Thompson, 59, of Gibsonville passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Tommy and Barbara Thompson, who survive. He was Vice President of International Minute Press and was recently elected as a Gibsonville Alderman. Paul was involved with the Police Explorers, Fire Explorers, and Alamance County EMS.

In addition to his parents, survivors include a sister, Kimberly Hudgins; nephew, Corey Kennon; niece, Chelsea Hudgins; and close friend and business partner, Alan Bailey.

The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Donald Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
