Pamela “Pam” Cole Walters, 58, of Graham, NC went home to be with the Lord on Saturday September 22, 2018. Pam was born on May 30, 1960 to Joy Payne and Bobby Lee Cole. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Lee Cole.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Michael “Mike” Walters of the home. Pam was a loving mother to five children. Three daughters, Elizabeth Moses and husband Davie of Saxapahaw, Misty Newsome and husband Shaun of Mebane, and Emily Nance and husband Nate of Graham. Two sons, Michael Walters of the home and Christopher Walters, stationed with the U.S. Army in Monterey, CA. She has four grandchildren, Jadon, Amber, and Anna Newsome all of Mebane and Lillian Nance of Graham.
Pam worked at Murphy’s Oil Company. She was a member of Breakthrough Community Church in Mebane for over 30 years which is where her services will be held. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6-8 and the funeral will be on Wednesday at 2 PM . Burial will follow in Moore’s Chapel Cemetery in Saxapahaw. The family will receive visitors at other times at the home, 2643 Saxapahaw Bethlehem Church Road, Graham, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the C.R. Byrd Fund through the Alamance Regional Cancer Center.
