Noah Tate Foley

May 5, 2007 ~ October 8, 2020 (age 13) 13 Years Old

Obituary

Noah Tate Foley, 13, of West Greensboro-Chapel Hill Road, Liberty, NC passed away
peacefully, on Thursday, October 8th, 2020 at Duke University Medical Center. Noah fought a
courageous battle for two long years against an unknown illness.

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Cliff and Kelli Foley and the brother to Kyndall
Foley, all of the home; paternal grandparents, Keith and Joyce Foley of Liberty; maternal
grandparents, Tommy Smith of Graham and Lucy Smith of Liberty; aunts, Renee Ingle and
husband Eddie of Liberty, Denise Cheek Evans and husband Davis of Clayton;
great-grandmothers, Peggy Clapp of Liberty, Mildred Baldwin of Burlington and Bonnie Smith
of Boydton, VA; numerous cousins, other extended family, friends, and beloved furry
companions, Milli, Harley, Oodie.

Noah was truly a bright light to all who knew him. To know him was to love him. He shared his
Mother’s love for music of all genres and decades. Noah’s daddy taught him to be the best 13
year old sharp-shooter we’ve ever known. His creativity and imagination with Legos was
exceptional. His knowledge of dinosaur and duck species was better than most his age. Noah
wanted to be a paleontologist when he grew up and was a straight A student, with one exception,
Math! He and his sister could always be found together, usually on their four-wheeler.

The loss of our sweet Noah was sudden and unexpected, but the unsurpassed care he received
from the ARMC Emergency Department and Duke PICU were truly a blessing. The care and
compassion shown to him, his parents, and his sister will never be forgotten.

Noah had the purest of hearts, his love for Jesus was obvious to all who knew him. He lived his
life to the absolute fullest and his family was blessed with 13 phenomenal, yet short years. Please
join us in our most sincere prayer, that Noah’s legacy will be carried on for years to come,
through his love for Jesus Christ and extensive vaccine research. When these two things are
carried out, we feel as a family, Noah’s passing will not have been in vain.

The family will receive friends at Mt. Zion Baptist Church (3572 W. Greensboro-Chapel Hill Road, Liberty, NC 27298) from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, October 12, 2020.
