Nancy Katherine Kelley

Nancy Keck Kelley, formerly of Cedar Ridge in Burlington died April 17, 2018. She was the daughter of Byron and Viola Keck, both deceased. She attended Elon University/ College and UNCG/ Women’s College where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She received her Master’s degree from Oklahoma State University. Nancy was an Early Childhood Educator consultant, teaching in Oklahoma and California.

Nancy is survived by three sisters, Dorothy K. Nardelli (Roger), Jane K. Studstill (Harry), and Linda K. Kirkpatrick; thirteen nephews and nieces, Dr. Bill Willis (Allison), Bonnie Willis, Bobby Willis (Robin), Joel Davidson (Janice), Todd Davidson (Jennifer), Jeff Davidson (Margaret), Neil Davidson (Rose), Kim Nardelli, Rodney Nardelli, Erin Studstill Lopp (Mike), Gray Kirkpatrick (Tina), Scott Kirkpatrick (Christina), Matt Kirkpatrick (Lisa); sixteen grand nieces and nephews, Elizabeth and Zach Willis, CaryLynn Neal (Kalan), Sara and Emma Willis, Kaeli, Walker, Carter, James and Kate Davidson, Trey, MaryAnna, Peter, Grace, Claire and Ladd Kirkpatrick.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dr. George L. Kelley and two sisters, Maxine K. Willis and Jennie K. Davidson.

A private celebration of her life will be held in the summer.
