Jean Martin Clapp, 83, of Graham, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 5:20 p.m.
A native of Charlotte, NC, she was the wife of the late Ronald Talmadge Clapp and the daughter of Oscar Totten Martin and Nancy Wood Martin, both deceased. She was a homemaker and a member of Glen Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include three children, Rhonda Terrell and husband Jeff of Burlington, Angela Galdi and husband Joseph of Coconut Creek, FL and Kevin Clapp and wife Kimberly of Welcome, NC; eight grandchildren, Casey Clapp, Brandy Clapp, Joy Clapp, Seth Clapp, Connor Clapp, Cory Coleman, Vincent Galdi, and Zachary Galdi; two great grandchildren, Silas Clapp and Briley Tant; two sisters, Carolyn Haithcock and Vickie Dennis; and two brothers, Don Martin and wife Sue and Frank Martin and wife Jeanette.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Steven Clapp; daughter, Teressa Lynn Clapp; brother, Tommy Martin; and sister, Barbara Ann Scott.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Lamb’s Chapel, Haw River Campus by her son, Evangelist Kevin Clapp. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
