Melton "Mel" Douglas Neely Jr

Mr. Melton “Mel” Neely, Jr., 61, of Graham, NC passed away at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital on Thursday, August 15, 2019.

Mr. Neely was born in Alamance County on January 29, 1958. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a former truck driver for Western Express.

Survivors include his father, Doug Neely of Burlington; mother, Glenda Bare of Pleasant Grove; daughter, Michelle Tranbarger and husband Christopher of Graham; granddaughter, Madeline Tranbarger; two sisters, Terrie Robertson and husband Kirk and Karen Moize and husband Bobby; and brother, Scott Neely.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. by Rev. David Grinnell with the family receiving friends following the service.
